How I Think About Therapy

I believe people grow best in spaces where they feel both understood and empowered.

Many of the individuals I work with are navigating demanding seasons of life—parenthood, major life transitions, or moments when the responsibilities they carry begin to feel overwhelming. Therapy can provide a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with your strengths as you navigate these changes.

My work is grounded in the belief that people already carry many of the resources they need for growth. Together we focus on building clarity, confidence, and practical tools that help you move forward in ways that feel meaningful and sustainable.

What to Expect in Our Work Together

In sessions with me you can expect a supportive and collaborative environment where we focus on understanding what is happening in your life and identifying the strengths you can draw on as you move forward.

For parents, this often includes exploring ways to strengthen the connection with your child while developing strategies that support emotional regulation and behavior. I am trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), an evidence-based approach that helps parents build confident, supportive relationships with their young children while addressing challenging behaviors.

For individuals navigating pregnancy, postpartum experiences, or major life transitions, therapy can offer a place to process the emotional complexity that often accompanies these changes while rediscovering a sense of stability and direction.
