Kendall Maurer is a National Certified Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in North Carolina. Her education includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology from UNC Charlotte and a Master of Arts (MA) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University. Kendall’s work in private practice has provided opportunities to gain experience with a variety of populations and treatment modalities.

Kendall specializes in helping children, adolescents, young adults, and couples navigate life's challenges, focusing on relationship dynamics, social issues, and life transitions. What sets her apart is her expertise in supporting neurodivergent individuals, particularly those with ADHD and/or ASD. She understands the unique struggles and strengths of neurodivergent clients and tailors her approaches accordingly, focusing on their support systems, strengths, and skills, among other areas. Kendall believes that being 'neurospicy' is an authentic part of one's experience and self-expression and that, with the right tools, it doesn't have to be debilitating.

In therapy, Kendall combines person-centered, Gestalt, and reality therapy to create a welcoming, non-judgmental space for clients to express themselves. She believes in the power of warmth, empathy, and genuineness to foster growth and self-improvement. She's dedicated to helping clients of all ages along their personal journeys of self-exploration and growth.

In her free time, Kendall enjoys quality moments with her partner, family, and friends. She's a cat enthusiast and a bit of a coffee connoisseur. Her love for things like video games and board games makes her approachable and relatable, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable therapeutic experience for her clients.
