Shaunna Rushing, LCMHCA
Shaunna Rushing is a Board Certified and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) who specializes in women and maternal mental health. She holds Masters degrees in elementary education and clinical mental health counseling, with additional training in perinatal mood disorders and early childhood trauma.
Shaunna offers treatment for women struggling with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, a history of complex traumas, and navigating relationship dynamics. She also offers therapy for those who are anywhere on their motherhood journey. Shaunna uses an attachment-based and trauma-sensitive approach as a framework for therapy. Depending on the unique needs of each client, she integrates additional modalities such as mindfulness, narrative therapy, emotionally focused therapy (EFT), and internal family systems (IFS) to guide the therapeutic process.
